WARREN C. SHAY, ESQ.
Warren C. Shay graduated from Boston University School of Law in 1974 and has practiced law in Skowhegan since September of 1974. He was a Selectman in Skowhegan from 1982 to 1994 and served as Chairman of the Board from 1984 to 1994. He served on the Draft Board of the Selective Service System from 1982 to 2007. Warren is a former Director of Skowhegan Savings Bank, current Director of Lake George Regional Park, and is a Trustee of Bloomfield Academy, which owns and operates the Skowhegan Free Public Library. He has previously served on the Board of Governors of the Maine State Bar Association representing Somerset and Piscataquis Counties.
Mr. Shay represents Towns and Counties on governmental issues and represents many businesses and institutions on corporate, financial and real estate matters. He represents clients in boundary disputes, road disputes, timber trespass disputes, foreclosures, title searches, partition actions and issues concerning docks, beaches and common areas. He represents a number of non-profit road and landowner associations. Mr. Shay also handles probate and estate planning matters. His practice includes trial work in Probate Court and the State District, Superior and Supreme Court.
