Triston A. Peters began working at Mills, Shay, Lexier & Talbot after passing the Maine Bar and settling with his family in Norridgewock, Maine. Mr. Peters earned his Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University where he majored in both Criminal Justice and Sociology.

Following his undergraduate degree, Mr. Peters also attended law school in Michigan where he took an interest in criminal defense work and spent time shadowing in the Washtenaw County Public Defender’s office prior to graduation.

Triston spent the summers of his youth visiting his father in Gardiner, Maine, where he also attended high school. He quickly fell in love with the state and it became a second home. He is honored to now call Maine his permanent home and to grow with, and be part of, the community in which he practices law.

Triston’s general legal interests include, but are not limited to: contracts, real estate, criminal law, and family law.
